sara & otis : lady bird johnson wildflower center
i've said it before. a good getting ready space is better than the best cup of coffee as soon as your feet hit the floor. a good getting ready space is better to me than the coolest venue. it's where you spend most of your day. it's where the biggest chunk of your photos are taken. it can be used for portraits with your family or bridesmaids or first look or just you. it gets me so freaking STOKED. to walk into a space that's unique--maybe it's full of art or eclectic furniture or clean bright walls or gaudy jewel tones--i love it all. where there is decent light and eclectic styling--it sends my brain into a million different places. get ready in a place you love. sara found this house in austin on a home rental site and it was overwhelming in the best way.
at one point i showed sara the back of my camera--a photo of her and otis--and she teared up. that's honestly all i want. to give you photos you love so much, you tear up.
also couldn't have done this without Gloria Goode. she's an incredible photographer. and also a magical human. go check out her work.
