jordan & mike : the LINE hotel
it was a perfect day. quiet. overlooking the hollywood sign, and griffith. soft grey sky in the morning, mysterious coastal fog sunset in the evening. no bridal party. no traditions they felt they had to adhere to--just vows on a rooftop. brunch in a tent. and then, the beach.
it was special, because it was theirs. a days they had carved themselves. people they loved most. the things they wanted to do. and their love for each other. so evident and true. in his vows, mike said (and i'm paraphrasing here) --Jordan, you're not just my wife or the b-side--you're my partner (it was more eloquent and tender than that. though i do specifically remember him saying she wasn't the b-side). and that's all i'm looking for really. is to take photos of that.
side note--i listened to this song so much while editing these that it felt like the two events/feelings were synonymous. so ENJOY FEELING THINGS.
