valerie & jacob, an editorial engagement

one for the dang record books for history for joy for love in the middle of a pandemic.

an engagement session can be anything. i always only ever want to collaborate with my couples and this was 100% a joint effort of many hands coming together to make it all come true. and this is only part one. there’s a part two well on its way later this year. because why not! WHY NOT! let’s just dream something up big and wonderful.

valerie is good at everything. a designer and photographer. sweet steady jacob. they compliment in every way. quiet in a sure sense. through fate and pajamas their lives intertwined. and here we are.

and on a downpour of a day we jammed music and laughed at the world. and everything paused except for that little room. and everything a living moving breathing thing.

also that very retro very gorgeous veil with floral appliqué? oh yeah, val’s mom wore it on her wedding day.
