she found Jory in Costa Rica. the surfer with the cafe. living a quiet life, enjoying what was right in front of him. and there they stayed. Under sun and palm. Falling into the slowness together.

brit & kev : the desert

vast desert. dirt roads. drippy sunshine. i want to send up all the thank yous in the world for brit and kev coming into my life. and so this was the place. the first day of Hey, Sista they made the trip out and we ran around and avoided cacti and laughed and scooped up that drippy light by the handful.

ty & ciara : joshua tree

ty and ciara are the two most genuine incredible people (example, after they left i kept hearing choruses of "gahh--they were just so nice" --but, of course i knew that) and they agreed to make the trek out from LA to the desert for my live shoot and it felt SO good. in my bones good.
