c & j: part one
i woke up at 4 AM. prepping, thinking the day through--grabbed coffee, left early for Point Defiance in Tacoma. got there around 6 and watched seal bob up from under the water. watched a fawn make its way down the beach and back into the woods. it was clear when we drove up. prayed for fog and it rolled in. stretched slow and thick from the islands on toward us. it was so quiet--nobody around. one of my favorite shooting experiences hands down. to be so alone. just us and our couple and the woods and the water (and of course our dear friend Rob, filmmaker extraordinaire).
this day came so easy. felt like shooting personal work.
part two coming your way tomorrow.
